Our Principal Finance department acts as strategic and ‘principal’ financial investor with a long- term industry view and commitment, focused on value creation opportunities throughout the market cycle. We are globally active in industries in which we have significant experience, in-depth knowledge, a large client base and network, and a strong track record. These include commodities, (renewable) energy, offshore, oil & gas, aviation, intermodel and deep sea shipping.
We primarily invest in liquid asset classes which generate strong stable and predictable cash flows related to their long economic lives, using a variety of equity and (mezzanine) debt instruments and, generating attractive risk adjusted returns. Transactions are structured in a way that enables us to take ownership or control over the underlying assets.
We cooperate with other investors (private and institutional) on a deal-by-deal basis, and are developing structures to attract third party capital in order to increase deal flow and transaction volumes and to further diversify the investment portfolio.
